For many years now, SURFCiTY has relied on Steve’s expert advice and genuine service for all our public address and lighting requirements. He is a skilled acoustic designer whose expert knowledge in the building industry regarding structural issues has saved our organisation in excess of $200,000.00 during our auditorium refurbishment.

Most recently, Steve and his team were responsible for the design and installation of a state of the art sound and lighting system we now enjoy in our new facility.

As the new SURFCiTY Centre also doubles as a professional conference venue, it was vital that all production equipment be of high conference industry standard. Steve provided a concept and design which far exceeds this standard and is now earning our Church a much valued income.

SURFCiTY Centre is proudly listed in the A List Guide for Corporate Venues in Queensland and is often utilized by 5 star hotels and corporate clients. We have enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with Dominica Sound since we launched our church in early 2005.

They have supplied us a full NEXO tangent array system which has proven to be a great investment as we have moved facilities 2 - 3 times and the system has transitioned brilliantly into each application. When launching our church we considered purchasing lower quality systems but after hearing NEXO we couldn't settle for anything less.

Dominica have serviced us for many years and had the attitude that nothing has been too hard and have always been prepared to go the extra mile to give us whatever we need.

All shipments of equipment have been reliable and on time.

We purchased a large monitoring rig of seventeen PS15s for our venue; they are great and still exceed all riders. Dominica Sound has also supplied us with a Nexo Geo D system and it was everything that they said it would be.  These guys know the abilities and flexibility of the Nexo systems extremely well. We also have the need, on occasion, to sub-hire extra boxes/amps to do bigger shows. Dominica has been able to supply whatever we have needed whenever we have wanted it.

Generally overall they are just genuinely good people to work with.

I have seen and heard the results of brand new auditoriums, fitted with brand new, but unsuitable or impractical equipment.  One school I visited recently, despite spending a very large amount of money, have been left with a tragically sub-standard result due to dealing with inept or unscrupulous dealers who are taking advantage of recent government funding to schools.   No opportunity to hear the system was given to them until it was already installed and paid for.

Dominica supplies us with the same tried and tested brands they themselves use in their hire division, and all equipment is demonstrated on site before a cent changes hands.  The result is always fantastic.  We have been working with them for over ten years and can testify that they would also never sell us anything unsuitable to our needs, no matter how high the profit margin may be.
