Hayley Bush, a congregator of the localchurch wrote and produced the musical having a cast that included more then 16singers, plus actors characters and children it was sure to impress.

The show used many songs new and oldrevamped into a strong, impacting musical, more then 2500 people viewed theshow over that December weekend.

The lighting had a strong mix of genericsand moving head fixtures, some included the Robe 1200ATE Color spots, Robe575AT Wash, Robe LED 4 Way Blinders, and Robe 250XT Spot.

Selecon profiles were used and added to thestandard rig consisting of 14-35 degree 23-50 degree 90 degree lenses as withmany other selecon products for the foundational lighting element.

This was all controlled by a Jands Vista T4Console.The Selecon Profiles were used as a base level light foundation and forgobo projection, the movers were then used to add colour and effects to thesurrounding scenes on stage and off to engage the audience to the entertainers perspective.

Luke Criss the lighting designer andoperator for the event also contributed in designing the set to have manyclosures and reveals for musicians and cast. He also integrated lights withinthe set to be used to rock up songs and bring a mood and vibe to the show.

Luke used lasers for a reworked, rocky songof the Drummer Boy; also he used the iScreen LED Screen to play digigobos© tohelp work with the whole lighting concept.

Luke says “…that with the deep colour ofthe Robe fixtures and sharpness of the Selecon pacifics, it left only room forcreativity and enjoyment for building great looks and atmosphere to the show.”

Audio was mixed on a Yamaha PM5D DigitalMixing Console.

With many Sennheiser head sets and Mann andShure choir microphones, and band microphones to think of this Console reallyaided to the Front Of House Engineer, this console allowed the operator to bein complete control of all available faders and an easy over view of theequalization and dynamic effects on the selected channel.

Over 20 Sennheiser Wireless Packs were usedthrough out the show for transmitting, and for receiving the performers in-earfoldback.

JVC HD Cameras were used to aid in livefeed to the big screens; the production also used a live AV News cross andPre-Recorded segments to add to the new modernized Nativity Performance.

Once again the production was co-ordinated,produced, built, and showed by a team of mostly volunteers, and Dominica was usedas the main supplier of technical equipment.
